Unsure what KPI means?
Campaign KPI should be the actual goal with the Ad Sets in the Campaign.
This is to ensure an efficient optimization and simple reporting.
Setting a proper goal
If you’re sending order values to the Facebook pixel or Facebook SDK - you’ll be able to optimize towards ROAS. This is highly recommended when available. This will also enable you to optimize towards a specific ROAS goal.
If your goal isn’t ROAS, you could optimize for CPA - where the action could be either conversions, clicks, impressions or anything else (depending on your Campaign type).
What happens next?
The budget entered here will overwrite any budgets you set in Ads Manager.
If you’re not sure what this is, you don’t have to change anything.
Setting an attribution window which is according to your way of analyzing performance is important for the optimizations to execute according to your goals.
If you’ve set an ROAS or CPA goal, this attribution window will be used to identify what the actual results are and how they correlate with your goal.
We encourage all Ads to be used in optimization, but if you for any reason don’t want any ads to be used in the optimization - simply check them if the drop down list.
